Prevention:

Parents must educate children about:
  • Good and bad touches

    • Not spending time alone with strangers and suspicious adults

    • How to say no to others when in doubt

    • What to do when they need immediate help

  • Parents should be vigilant and ensure safety

  • Do not hesitate from expressing love and care to children

  • Do not over react and panic if you realize that your child has been victimized. This will frighten the children.

  • Exercise open dialogues with the children as a family.
